EEG Biofeedback (Neurofeedback-NFB) is a learning strategy that enables people to alter their brainwaves. In the present case study, we applied a NFB protocol on three patients with Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS). The existing symptoms and clinical conditions of the patients attributed to FMS, Visual Analog Scale for pain and fatigue, Hamilton Depression and Anxiety Inventory Scales, Beck Depression and Anxiety Inventory Scales, and SF-36 were recorded before and after NFB training. Most of the symptoms were decreased after ten sessions. There was also improvement in all of the scales after the treatment. The results of the present study may suggest NFB training as a novel treatment method in FMS.; EEGbiyofeedback (Nörofeedback-NFB), kişilerin beyin dalgalarını değiştirebilmelerini sağlayan bir öğrenme stratejisidir. On seans sonunda semptomların çoğu azaldı. Ölçeklerin tümünde tedavi sonrası ilerleme kaydedildi. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, NFB uygulamasına FMS tedavisinde yeni bir metot olabileceğini düşündürmektedir.

A 67 year male had robotic prostatectomy whose pathology revealed mixed type prostate cancer composed of 55% ductal and 45% acinar components. The patient was then admitted to hospital with sudden health problems including ascites and serious vomiting attacks in the 46th month after prostatectomy and the PSA test was 4565 ng/mL. Gastroscopic biopsy was reported and proved immunhistochemically undifferentiated ductal prostate cancer metastasis. This is the first report of late gastric metastasis of ductal prostate cancer.

Acute appendicitis is one of the more common surgical emergencies, and it is one of the most common causes of acute abdominal pain. Intestinal lipomatosis is a rare condition particularly the isolated form of lipomatosis of the appendix which may mimic or present as an acute appendicitis, that frequently requires the surgical exploration. In this paper, we report computed tomography findings of a case wıth isolated form of submucosal lipomatosis of appendix.

Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) is an inflammatory, demyelinating disease that affects the spinal cord and optic nerves and is associated with aquaporin- 4 antibodies (Aqp-4 Ab). NMO patients might occasionally present with medulla symptoms such as hiccups, nausea and vomiting and with small lesions in the dorsal medulla, which corresponds to a site of high Aqp-4 expression.
