Abstract

Diffüz idiyopatik iskelet hiperostozu (DISH) etyolojisitam bilinmeyen, ligamanlar ve entezis gibi yumuşakdokuların kalsifikasyonu ve ossifikasyonu ile karakterizebir hastalıktır. DISH'de en sık karşılaşılan semptomlaromurgada ağrı ve sertlik, hareket kısıtlılığı ve özofaguskompresyonuna bağlı disfajidir. Tanısı radyolojikincelemelerle konulur. Bu yazıda, obstrüktif uyku apnesisendromu nedeniyle kliniğimize başvuran; muayene veincelemede DISH saptanan bir hasta literatür eşliğindetartışıldı

Diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) is adisease of unknown etiology characterized withcalcification and ossification of soft tissues such asligaments and entheses. The most common symptomsin DISH are pain and hardness on the spine,movement restriction, and dysphagia due tocompression of the esophagus. It is diagnosed withradiologic examinations.
