Hemşirelerin venöz tromboemboli risk faktörleri ve koruyucu girişimlere yönelik bilgi düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma hemşirelerin venöz tromboemboli risk faktörleri ve koruyucu girişimlere yönelik bilgi düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi amacı ile planlandı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma tanımlayıcı-kesitsel nitelikte bir araştırmadır. Veriler İstanbul ilindeki özel bir hastanenin ve bir vakıf üniversitesine bağlı bir eğitim araştırma hastanesinin bölümlerinde çalışan 111 hemşire üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından konuyla ilgili literatürlerden yararlanılarak oluşturulan bilgi formlarıyla elde edildi. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin Venöz Tromboemboli Risk Faktörleri ve Koruyucu Girişimlere Yönelik Bilgi Düzeylerinin Değerlendirilmesi Formu'na verilen cevaplara göre; hemşirelerin venöz tromboemboliye ilişkin bilgi düzeylerinin risk faktörlerine yönelik yüksek (rs= 0,704) (p<0,01), farmakolojik olmayan koruyucu girişimlere yönelik orta (rs= 0,641) (p<0,01), farmakolojik girişimler ve izleme yönelik yüksek (rs= 0,727) (p<0,01), hemşirelik girişimleri ve hasta eğitimine yönelik yüksek düzeyde (rs= 0,892) (p<0,01) olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin venöz tromboemboli gelişimine yönelik farmakolojik olmayan koruyucu girişimler konusundaki bilgi düzeyleri arttırılmalıdır. Bu bağlamda hemşirelere aralıklı periyotlar halinde venöz tromboemboli risk faktörleri ve koruyucu girişimlere yönelik kurum içi eğitim programları verilmelidir. Objective: This study was planned with the aim of assessing the level of knowledge of nurses' risk factors for venous thromboembolism and preventive interventions. Materials and Methods: This study is a complementary cross-sectional study. The data was conducted on 310 nurses working in the departments of a private hospital in İstanbul and an educational research hospital attached to a foundation university. The data was obtained by the researcher using the related literatures in the form of information. Results: According to the responses given in the form of assessment of knowledge levels of nurses for venous thromboembolic risk factors and preventive interventions; nurses' knowledge level of venous thromboembolism was higher (r=0.704) (p<0.01) for risk factors, moderate (r=0.641) (p<0.01)for pharmacological protective interventions, pharmacological interventions and follow-up (r=0.727) (p<0.01) for nursing interventions and patient education (r=0.892) (p<0.01) determined. Conclusion: Nurses' knowledge of non-pharmacological protective interventions for the development of venous thromboembolism should be increased. In this context, internship training programs on venous thromboembolic risk factors and preventive interventions should be given to nurses in intermittent periods.
